The brief
Give the wines and the story room to meet.
Mlambo Wines was presented as a contemporary premium wine brand, with social moments and a sense of identity at its centre. The website was a client-pitched concept, not a live build.
The name and mark carry a river motif. That gave the proposed About section a natural story to hold, while the wine range remained easy to discover.
Proposed website
Three clear ways into the brand.
01 / Homepage
Set the scene
Introduce Mlambo Wines and lead visitors into the range with a clear sense of the brand's premium, social direction.
02 / Product
Let each wine speak
Give a bottle its own focus, with space for product details that can be confirmed before publication.
03 / About
Carry the story through
Use the river motif as a thread through the brand story, without getting in the way of product discovery.
Website prototype
A closer look at the proposed experience.
These captures come from the clickable client-pitch prototype. The gallery brings the homepage and Our Story together with the age check and a short shopping journey from the wine range to the cart.
04 / Age gate
A clear check before entry.
The date-of-birth prompt moves to a brief welcome state after confirmation. The prototype does not show a separate loading screen.
06 / Store flow
From the range to the cart.
A compact view of the proposed collection, product detail and cart screens. The checkout content is part of the concept, not a live shop.
Product ratings, prices and wine details visible in these screens are concept content from the pitch, not verified or live claims.
Design system
A visual language for the website concept.
The pitch pairs the river-inspired mark with deep navy, parchment, apricot and cyan. Serif-led headings and a restrained sans-serif support the wine story, while horizontal and stacked marks adapt to light and dark surfaces.
This is the visual system for the website concept, not confirmed client-approved guidelines.
